Taiwan may be a small island, but its people, technology, products, innovation, and culture touches all corners of the globe. From semi-conductors to boba milk tea, from thought leaders to philanthropists, from fine arts to scientific advancements, Taiwan eagerly shares the best it has to offer with the world.

The Friends of Taiwan Foundation was established in 2017 to help our local communities better understand and connect with Taiwan through cultural and educational programs, philanthropic projects, and other shared experiences. Over the last several years, through all the challenges from a global pandemic, we have still managed to donate over 1 million face masks to governmental agencies and healthcare facilities, helped launch several exchange programs with leading universities from Taiwan and the US, hosted various celebrations of Taiwanese culture, funded various philanthropic projects to help the underserved in our communities … and we’re just getting started!

The Friends of Taiwan Foundation is funded and supported by business and individuals that share our love for Taiwan and would like to share these experiences with everyone in our community. We are a non-profit, fully volunteer-based organization, so 100% of donations go towards funding community projects. The Friends of Taiwan Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization.
